Princess Eugenie has made her decision clear amid Princess Beatrice's U-turn.

Beatrice, 36, will join the Royal Family at Sandringham this Christmas after changing her travel plans due to medical advice, GB News has been told.

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and the elder Princess of York are expecting their second child in the early spring and were planning on spending the festive period overseas with Edoardo's Italian family.

However, she has received medical advice and been guided not to travel long distances.

The royal baby will be a little brother or sister for the couple’s three-year-old daughter Sienna.

Edoardo also has an eight-year-old son named Wolfie with his ex-partner, Dara Huang.

Despite Beatrice's U-turn, her younger sister Princess Eugenie, 34, and her family are planning on spending Christmas with her in-laws.

Eugenie tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank in 2018, and the couple share two sons, August, three, and Ernest, one.

Jack's mother, Nicola Brooksbank, 71, is a widow after her late husband George died in 2021.

Many royals will be guests of the King and Queen at Sandringham on Christmas Day, with Prince William revealing recently that 45 people will be “all in one room” at the royal residence.

Missing will be Beatrice’s father Prince Andrew, who is staying away amid the controversy surrounding his links to an alleged Chinese spy.

This year would have been the first time since their marriages that both York sisters had chosen to celebrate Christmas away from the traditional Norfolk gathering.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, withdrew from the annual gathering amid controversy surrounding the Duke of York's alleged connections to the suspected spy.

The decision for them to remain at Royal Lodge was reportedly made easier by their daughters' initial plans to celebrate with their in-laws.

Both sisters received invitations from their in-laws some time ago and originally chose to accept them, before Beatrice's U-turn.

Prince Andrew and Fergie will instead spend December 25 at their shared home, Royal Lodge, on the Windsor estate, where they continue to live together despite their 1996 divorce.
