The Princess of York and Jack Brooksbank began living abroad in 2022
Princess Eugenie "would still like to increase royal work", despite now living abroad in Portugal, a royal commentator exclusively told GB News.
But royal author Richard Fitzwilliams argues that despite living abroad, Eugenie would still like to do more duties on behalf of the Royal Family.
Fitzwilliams exclusively told GB News: "Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are happy the way they are at the moment in the sense they're happily married, they've got careers, and they've got families.
"But, on the other hand, they would probably like to increase the amount of work they do.
"Having said that, as working royals, they would get money from the Duchy of Lancaster."
Fitzwilliams said: "If they did become working royals, and they do occasional work which is fine.
Princess Eugenie is a mother-of-two
PA"But the problem is of course the link with Prince Andrew and certainly for the moment it's unlikely that they would be asked to do more.
"It's simply a matter of gauging public opinion.
"The palace is currently reviewing the patronages and we'll have to wait for that review before we know anything.
"It just seems unlikely there's going to be a change for the time being."

PALATEST ROYAL NEWS:
The Princess of York admitted that her home in Portugal is "the dream" during her recent appearance on the Tables Manners podcast.
Her husband Jack Brooksbank began working in marketing, sales and promotion for Michael Meldman's Discovery Land Company in Portugal in 2022, having formerly worked as a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila.
Eugenie said: “This is why Portugal is the dream because I can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind.
"Not care. No one cares.”
