In a post on social media, a spokesperson for the couple said: "On Thursday September 12 late in the morning, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurated the new Charles III College, which will be able to accommodate up to 1,500 students in 102 classes.

"After unveiling the inaugural plaque in the presence of HE Didier Guillaume, Minister of State, HE Mgr Dominique-Marie David, Archbishop of Monaco and the Monegasque authorities, the Princely Couple began their tour of the establishment with the school restaurant, the amphitheater and two classrooms, a tour that continued with a presentation of the sports facilities, swimming pool and gymnasium of over 1,000 m²."

The Princess's jumpsuit came in hues of brown white and black in a 'chain spot' pattern for a 1960s vibe. The garment also featured a crew neckline, belted waistline, and cinched sleeves.

The royal paired her leg-lengthening look with a set of buckle-adorned pointed-toe stilettos and styled her straight blonde locks in a soft style tucked behind her ears.

Earlier this week, the former Olympian wore an eye-catching red jumpsuit for an annual picnic, where she joined Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, both nine, at the Parc Princess Antoinette in Monaco.

Tucking her slicked-back bob behind her ears, the royal looked elegant with a simple silver drop earring. The mother-of-two opted for a natural makeup look, with a touch of smokey eye and a pop of red lipstick.

Prince Albert and the couple's young son Prince Jacques were dressed in coordinating outfits for the occasion, with both wearing smart navy blazers with cream trousers.

Meanwhile Princess Gabriella donned a simple white dress, perfectly matching a posey of flowers she held during the engagement. The twins have attended the picnic each year since they were just eight months old.

Prince Albert has previously stressed the importance of the annual event.

He told People: "It's a fun event, a really nice moment of the year. It's just a great, very informal, setting. The mass, which opens it up is a little formal, but then it goes right into a picnic and there's a little cocktail party atmosphere."
