Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques were born on December 10, 2014, at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.

"Every second with them is magical. I look forward to spending more time in their presence."

Gabriella was born at 5.04pm, with Jacques following two minutes later.

Despite the prince being born a few minutes later, Monaco is still governed by male-preference primogeniture.

This means Prince Jacques will inherit the throne before his older sister.
