Princess Charlene was absent from attending the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, with her husband, Prince Albert, attending alone.

The Prince of Monaco joined French President Emmanuel Macron and other world leaders in Paris on Saturday for the spectacle.

Prince William, Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were also present.

Princess Charlene's absence is unknown, however, it has been suggested that her royal duties in Monaco may have kept her there.

The mum-of-two was spotted on Friday evening as she headed out for the inauguration of the Christmas village in Monaco alongside her nine-year-old children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.

Meanwhile, Prince Albert wrapped up in a navy coat and dark green scarf as he posed with Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.

The 66-year-old sat beside Queen Mathilde of Belgium as the French president addressed the guests.

Prince Albert was later pictured speaking to US President-elect Donald Trump.

The casual family snapshot was shared on the Princier Palace's official Instagram account.

Princess Charlene, 46, exuded elegance in straight-leg brown trousers paired with a mocha-hued knitted jumper and brown leather boots.

Prince Albert, 66, appeared relaxed in a cream cable knit jumper and brown check shirt, standing behind his family.

The twins coordinated in neutral tones.

Princess Gabriella wore a cream knit ensemble and metallic ballet shoes, while Prince Jacques sported a beige jumper, black trousers, and brown suede shoes.

A beautifully decorated Christmas tree completed the festive scene.

Prince Albert will host a party this month at the Palace where he and Charlene reside.

It was confirmed in November that he would "offer a recreational session to all Monaco children aged five to 12 on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 18, 2024, on the occasion of Christmas."
