The glitzy event was described as an “unforgettable evening” on the charity’s website and promised "superb food by celebrity chefs".
Celebrities began the evening with a glittering drinks reception in the Great Hall of the palace followed by a dinner in the Long Library.
According to the event details: “With superb food served by celebrity chefs accompanied by some of the very best wines, we really hope that everyone lucky enough to be at the event, will make this another record-breaking year for Starlight, helping us to support every child in hospital to live every day fully even when they are sick.”
