Readers might have exotic royal favourites in mind - but the couple tend to look a little closer to home

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's daughter Sienna undoubtedly has the pick of the world's top destinations for her summer holidays.

While Beatrice has been spotted jetting off to places like Saudi Arabia - supported by her sister Princess Eugenie - for official engagements, years past have highlighted just which locales the Duke of York's eldest daughter has picked out for her summer trips.

GB News has pored over flight logs, social media posts and snippets of interviews past to find out just which royal residences and holiday haunts Beatrice and Edoardo will be whisking Sienna away to in 2024.

And while readers might have late royal favourites like Mustique or Kenya - or Edoardo's ancestral home in the north of Italy - in mind, the princess tends to choose more domestic destinations during the hottest months of the year.

Last summer, Sienna spent time at Royal Lodge with her grandparents Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York.

And Sarah herself opened up on what a joy it was to host her granddaughter in the grounds of the sprawling Berkshire mansion, joking on her podcast that Sienna was "the controller of Granny and Grandpa right now".

Fergie continued: "It's taken me right the way back to following Beatrice around - it's literally a Mini-Me. We've had an extraordinary time, and I'm very glad that Beatrice and Edo got some time alone too."

Inside Royal Lodge, the duchess added, she and Sienna had transformed the "beautiful, huge sitting room" into a mock train station so the pair could play Thomas the Tank Engine together.

Sienna could join her cousins at Balmoral this summer in a move mirroring centuries-old royal traditions.

In 2023, Beatrice and Eugenie were understood to have been among the first to arrive at the imposing Royal Family residence - with the sisters' children in tow.

If the York girls were to bring their children back to the castle, Sienna would be able to enjoy a summer of countryside fun alongside Eugenie's one and three-year-old sons, Ernest and August.

Sienna's aunt Eugenie has described Balmoral as the "most beautiful place on Earth", detailing how under the late Queen Elizabeth II, activities included "walks, picnics, dogs... a lot of dogs", adding "you just have room to breathe and run".

But back down south, and closer to Royal Lodge, the Duchess of York could take Beatrice's daughter to Windsor Great Park's playground - a passion project of Charles III, back when he was Prince of Wales.

But all the talk of Beatrice Sienna's favourite locations isn't to forget spending quality time with the latter's stepbrother, Edoardo's eight-year-old son Wolfie, whose mother is Edo's former fiancée, architect Dara Huang.

Huang has talked up the modern family dynamic to Harper's Bazaar, saying: "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him - because it didn’t have to be so easy."

And the Duchess of York has confirmed the two half-siblings get on, saying: "Wolfie says: 'Come on, Sienna!' and off they go. They're very close and have a great relationship."
