Princess Anne narrowly avoided an embarrassing slip-up as she joined the Royal Family at Tuesday's state banquet for the Emir of Qatar at Buckingham Palace.
The Princess Royal, 74, wore an Aquamarine Pine flower tiara, which was a wedding present from her late grandmother, the Queen Mother.
At the end of the King’s speech, Charles raised a toast to the Emir and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher.
Anne almost took a sip of her drink before clinking her glass with Sheikh Tamim, before she realised her mistake and quickly corrected herself.
