Prince William has admitted that his mother Princess Diana would be "disappointed" in the lack of progress made in tackling homelessness.

Princess Diana was passionate about reducing homelessness in the UK and worked with charities to achieve this goal.

Prince William shared his thoughts in a video for this year's Red Nose Day charity appeal.

He said: "My mother introduced me to the cause of homelessness from quite a young age, and I'm really glad she did.

"I think she would be disappointed that we are still no further on in terms of tackling homelessness and preventing it than when she was interested and involved in it."

The brothers are currently feuding following several public attacks Prince Harry launched on senior members of the Royal Family.

Earlier this year Prince Harry claimed Princess Diana would have realised the Royal Family's "missed opportunity" by failing to welcome Meghan Markle into the monarchy.

The Duke bemoaned his family for wasting the opportunity to learn from Meghan Markle in an interview with American broadcaster ABC.

Harry said: "I think my mother would have realised the missed opportunity with Meghan being part of the institution, part of the monarchy."

This week, Royal Family member Sarah Ferguson said that Princess Diana would be proud of her grandchildren.

Sarah Ferguson was a friend of the Princess of Wales, with Diana attending Fergie's hen do.

The Duchess of York said: "The most important thing is, Diana would be so very proud of Archie and Lili.

"She would have adored every moment of it."
