Prince William has been angered by Prince Harry's continued partnership with Netflix despite the streaming giant "ruthlessly exploiting" the Royal Family, according to a friend of the Prince of Wales.
Netflix is preparing to release the final season of The Crown, a drama based on events within the Royal Family.
Prince William and Prince Harry's mother Princess Diana, who died in 1997 following a car crash in Paris, will be portrayed in the series as a ghost.
A friend of the Prince of Wales told the Daily Beast: "William is angry about a lot of things in connection with Harry.

"His decision to work with Netflix, who have ruthlessly exploited the family, is certainly one of them."
They added: "It’s incredibly hurtful to have his mother exploited over and over again in this tawdry fashion by Netflix.
"He won’t watch it, but he will be totally sickened by it."

The couple released the self-titled series Harry & Meghan on Netflix in December 2022.
Despite mixed reviews, the series was a streaming success, breaking multiple Netflix records.
On August 30 2023, Prince Harry's documentary following the 2022 Invictus Games in The Hague dropped on the streaming platform.
Heart of the Invictus failed to achieve the same level of success as the Sussexes' debut series.

The new series of The Crown will also depict a young Prince William meeting Princess Kate at university.
The royal drama is set to end in 2005 with Charles and Camilla's wedding being the last major royal event covered.
This means Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding and their subsequent departure from the monarchy will not be portrayed by Netflix.
