Prince William will miss Princess Kate's Wimbledon appearance due to royal diary clash

The royal normally presents the trophies to the men's and women's singles winners at the tennis tournament.

This year Kate is not attending the women's singles final between Barbora Krejčíková and Jasmine Paolini.

But she will present the trophy to the Wimbledon men's singles winner.

Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will face off in a repeat of the 2023 men's final.

Last year, The Princess of Wales was joined at Wimbledon by Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte for the compelling match between Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

Kate presented the trophy to Alcaraz as the Spaniard won his first Wimbledon title.

The royal may choose to bring both Prince George and Princess Charlotte to this year's final.

Prince Louis could also make an appearance at the tennis tournament.

Last year, Kate admitted that her youngest child son was "very upset" at missing the sporting event.

However, Prince William will not be present at the match as he will be attending the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain tomorrow.

The Prince of Wales is the President of the Football Association and has already attended two England matches at the tournament hosted in Germany this summer.

William watched England draw with Denmark in the group stage and later defeat Switzerland on penalties in the quarter-finals.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte could join their father in Berlin for the final instead of attending Wimbledon this year.

If England are victorious the squad will meet with King Charles and Prince William at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
