Prince William has admitted Princess Kate "has a long way to go" in her cancer battle.
The Princess of Wales confirmed she had completed her chemotherapy treatment in an emotional video message on Monday,
The Prince of Wales is undertaking an engagement in Wales today and was quizzed by a royal fan following Kate's health update.
William told Pauline Thomas, 74: "It’s good news but there is still a long way to go."

The Prince of Wales is visiting Llanelli in South Wales to celebrate Welsh sport, culture and meet local communities.
William carrying out royal duties today comes as the Princess of Wales indicated she will return to work in the coming months.
Kate has only made two major public appearances this year, the first coming at Trooping the Colour and the second at Wimbledon alongside her sister Pippa and her daughter Princess Charlotte.
The Princess of Wales outlined that she hopes to undertake several engagements before the new year.

Kate added that her main focus is to "stay cancer free" as she continues her journey of healing.
The princess said regarding her cancer journey: "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.
"The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.
"Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

"The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.
She continued: "Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.
"I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.
"Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life."
