The Prince and Princess of Wales were heavily targeted in Omid Scobie's Endgame
Prince William is "proud of Princess Kate" as he displayed a powerful gesture beside his wife, a body language expert has claimed.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Royal Variety Performance on Thursday evening, where Kate wore a gorgeous Safiyaa blue gown.
William and Kate walked into the London venue hand-in-hand, which appeared to be a unifying gesture after Omid Scobie's sensational book Endgame was released.
The author attacked Kate by calling her a "Stepford wife" in the book, although he argues he gave the princess "favourable coverage" during his Thursday interview on This Morning.
A body language expert spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how the prince and princess approached their glitzy outing at the Royal Albert Hall.
Judi James said: "This hand-holding is a new form of PDA from William and Kate, with William in particular instigating what looks like a message to the world that he adores and is proud of his wife.
"He almost seems to be presenting her with pride here.
"William holds his hand out for her to take and they use prolonged eye contact as she does so.

"Diana’s ring is displayed for all to see and their rounded-cheeked smiles show how delighted they are in each other’s company.
"This is the body language of loving resilience.
"It wasn’t a necessary statement but the fact they have both colluded to make it shows them to be a power couple in every sense of the word."
For Thursday's outing, Kate wore the Talina Poseidon Long Dress from the brand, which sells for £1,545.

Its description says: "Gown with boat neck and split sleeve in Poseidon Heavy Crepe with smoke/crystal Crystal Trim B embroidery."
However, fans of Meghan Markle took to social media to criticise the outfit.
They claimed it was very similar to a blue Safiyaa dress that the Duchess of Sussex wore in 2018.
