Prince Louis spotted counting during King Charles's Coronation just minutes before he disappeared - VIDEO

Prince Louis was sitting in the front row alongside his sister Princess Charlotte and his parents.

He was seen counting and fidgeting during the service for the King’s Coronation.

During the first half of the ceremony, he let out a big yawn, while also yawning again shortly after Charles was crowned just after midday.

There was confusion when he appeared to go missing.

The young royal was not seen sitting next to his parents or siblings.

However, Louis, 5, was "retired" during the service, which was planned due to his tender age.

Later in the ceremony, Prince Louis was pictured sitting again as he joined the rest of his family at the end of the service and for the procession out of the Abbey and into the carriages for the journey back to the Palace.

Following the conclusion of the Coronation, Prince Louis pulled faces as the Royal Family watched the flypast on Buckingham Palace's balcony.

The young royal appeared alongside his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Kate and Prince William on the balcony.

Last year, the young prince's reactions to the flypast went viral.

Prince Louis was seen covering his ears as the noisy planes roared overhead during the event that kick started the celebration for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Louis, the youngest of Kate and William’s children, turned five last month.

He is fourth in the Royal Family’s line of succession.

King Charles was a similar age to Prince Louis when he attended his mother Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation in 1953 when he was four years old.
