Meghan Markle has not visited the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022.

Princess Lilibet, two, was born in the US and has only made one trip to the country of Harry's birth.

However, insiders have claimed that Harry is seriously considering returning to the UK with the help of trusted allies.

One of the Duke of Sussex's friends has devised a plan for Harry's return, according to a source.

They said: "He has put together a blueprint and will show it to Harry if and when there’s an appropriate moment.

"This person believes there is a real chance Harry could even carry out very low-key royal duties again one day."

However, Harry undertaking any royal duties as a part-time working royal is highly unlikely.

The Duke of Sussex remains in a bitter feud with his brother and heir to the throne Prince William.

The brothers were in the same room for the first time in over a year last week when they attended their uncle's funeral.

Harry and William did not speak to each other and were seated at opposite ends of the aisle at the service which took place last Wednesday.

An insider described Harry's initial movement around facilitating a move to the UK as "significant".

They said: "That situation may yet change.

"What’s significant is that the first steps have been taken."
