Prince Harry has been hailed as a "trailblazer" to change what the public expects from royals as Prince William is now "following the Duke of Sussex's decision", a hair stylist expert exclusively told GB News.
Prince William's now-familiar beard has been on display throughout the festive period and new year.
Jack Miles, owner of Revyv Hair, claimed William would not have grown his beard out if there was a backlash from Prince Harry's facial hair.
The Duke of Sussex claimed that in 2018, William ordered him to shave his beard off before his wedding to Meghan Markle, leading to a week-long confrontation, but has now embraced his own facial hair.

Miles exclusively told GB News: "Prince Harry was the trailblazer who changed the norms of what was expected of a royal.
"William saw the public reaction in accepting Harry's facial hair, so I think he has a lot to do with William changing his style choices.
"Prince Harry led the way as he was in a unique position after stepping away from the Royal Family.
"I am not sure William would have a beard today if Harry hadn't gone there first."

The royal brothers allegedly had a confrontation as the Duke of Sussex famously kept his beard for his 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle, a decision which Prince Harry said William was upset about.
In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry wrote that the late Queen Elizabeth permitted him to keep his beard, resulting in further tension with Prince William.
The decision to remain unshaven caused a rift between Prince William and Prince Harry, with Harry writing that William was upset mainly because he hadn't been allowed to keep his own beard.

The brothers are thought to still not be on speaking terms.
