Prince Harry smashed by BBC as over a million more Britons watch Happy Valley than Duke's bombshell interview
ITV
Prince Harry's tell-all chat with Tom Bradby failed to top the TV ratings last night, being resoundingly beaten by the BBC's Happy Valley.
The Duke's bombshell interview had an average of 3,686,800 viewers between 9pm-10pm last night.
However, BBC One was watched by an average of 5,226,800 during the same period.
The second episode of the third series of Happy Valley drew over 1.7 million more viewers for the BBC than ITV when the first hour of Harry's 90-minute interview was being broadcasted.
During the interview, Harry fired digs at Prince William, Kate Middleton and Camilla whilst also discussing his relationship with his father King Charles III.

Prince Harry's decision to provide a fresh insight into Kate and Meghan's strained relationship just hours before the Princess of Wales' 41st birthday has further fuelled speculation on the rift between the couples.
Mr Bradby says regarding the extract in Spare: "At one stage, Harry recounts a clear-the-air meeting involving him, William, Kate, and Meghan.
"It seems to have gone so badly wrong that he describes Kate as gripping the edges of the leather chair so tightly that her fingers were white.
"Kate says she's owed an apology from Meghan who previously put a moment of Kate’s forgetfulness down to so-called baby brain.
"According to Harry, Kate tells Meghan they're not close enough to talk that way and William says, ‘That’s not what's done here in Britain’.
"The meeting ends awkwardly, with a hug of sorts."

He said: "Forgiveness is 100 percent a possibility, because I would like to get my father back.
"I would like to have my brother back."
Harry added: "At the moment, I don't recognise them, as much as they probably don't recognise me."
