The Duke of Sussex is scheduled to attend several major events over the coming weeks

Prince Harry looks set to break his cover for a series of “essential” events but a reunion with brother Prince William remains unlikely.

The 38-year-old is jetting off to Singapore to compete in his Sentebale charity’s annual polo match next weekend.

The Prince of Wales also has a trip to the Asian country in his diary but the pair crossing paths is seemingly far from likely.

The future King is not travelling to Singapore until November to mark the Earthshot Prize Awards for 2023.

However, Prince Harry’s charity polo fixture is being held on August 12.

The father-of-two co-founded the organisation with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006.

The charity hopes to help children in southern Africa affected by extreme poverty, inequality, and the AIDS epidemic.

More than £11million has been raised by the polo fundraiser since 2010.

The Duke of Sussex described the event as “essential” to the charity’s efforts to ensure “children and young people are healthy, resilient and able to thrive”.

He continued: “The funds raised this year will support our Clubs and Camps programme, which provides intensive psychosocial support to young people living with HIV.

“In a time where being HIV positive is no longer a death sentence, we are empowering young people to know their status, stay healthy, and eliminate the stigma so that they can break the cycle.”

The 38-year-old took a backward step shortly after King Charles’ Coronation in May.

The couple claimed at the time to have been involved in a “near catastrophic” car chase with paparazzi after the event in the Big Apple.

A spokesman for the Sussexes said the couple and Meghan's mother Doria Ragland “were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi”.

He added: “This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.”

However, paparazzi denied there were any near crashes and New York Police Department said “numerous photographers” made the couple’s journey “challenging” but there were “no reported collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests”.

The Sussexes will also jet off to Germany in early September to play a pivotal role in the Invictus Games.

The event, which will last from September 9 to 16, will reportedly see the Prince give a closing statement and his wife moderate a farewell show.

It is not yet known if the couple will stop off in the United Kingdom or bring with them their children Archie and Lilibet during the two-week European trip.
