Prince Harry met up with Queen Mathilde of Belgium during an engagement in New York.
The Duke of Sussex kicked off his string of solo engagements in New York with an appearance at a high-profile dinner organised by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Harry, 40, attended the event which honoured survivors of childhood violence and discussed its impact on mental health.
Meghan Markle is not expected to join her husband during his engagements this week.

Harry rubbed shoulders with distinguished guests, including Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo at the glitzy dinner.
Officials from Sweden, Colombia, Zimbabwe, Georgia, Canada, Iceland, and Brazil were also present, as was actor Forest Whitaker.
The dinner begins a week-long series of engagements for the royal in the Big Apple.
A spokesperson for the Duke outlined his upcoming schedule, stating: "During UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week in New York City, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, will be in town to advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives."
Harry's engagements will include appearances with African Parks, The HALO Trust, and The Diana Award.

He will also further the work of The Archewell Foundation, which he co-founded with Meghan.
The prince's solo trip highlights his continued commitment to charitable causes, particularly those focused on conservation, landmine clearance, and youth empowerment.

During the weekend, the Duke attended a charity event in California alone after Meghan reportedly fell ill at the last minute.
It follows the couple spending time apart during Harry's 40th birthday celebrations earlier this month.
Despite the solo appearances, Harry continues to champion causes close to both his and Meghan's hearts through their joint venture, The Archewell Foundation.
