Royal commentator Katie Nicholl has said that Princess Kate was left "hurt and disappointed" by the Duke of Sussex's attacks.
Nicholl said: "When you think of the personal revelations, and I think you can call them snide remarks made about Kate in Spare, Harry broke the one rule and that is staying silent on family matters.
“While Kate and Harry used to be very, very close, there's been a complete breakdown of that relationship.
"I don’t think Kate does angry.

"I think it is more a case of feeling very disappointed, very let down and feeling hurt knowing that she had no right of reply - and Harry knew full well she had no right of reply."
Nicholl added that Prince William was furious that his brother had dragged his wife into their feud.
The royal commentator told Fabulous: "I do know that William was very angry that Harry had drawn Kate into it when he felt Kate was blameless throughout.
"She acted very much as the peacekeeper, she tried to get the brothers back on an even keel and for Kate to be dragged into this mucky saga was upsetting for her and certainly did infuriate William."

Earlier this month, a friend of the Prince and Princess of Wales stated that the couple were nervous that Prince Harry could launch another public attack on the Royal Family soon.
The Duke of Sussex's Heart of Invictus Games documentary was released on Netflix on August 30 2023 and has not performed as well as the Sussexes' previous docu-series titled Harry & Meghan.
The source told The Daily Beast: "Harry is going to want people to watch the show.
"Of course that makes them nervous because William has seen how ruthless Harry has been about betraying his family to promote his projects so far."
