The Duke of Sussex's relationship with senior members of the monarchy has deteriorated over the last few years
Prince Harry returning to the UK regularly is no longer a possibility after a pivotal decision was made by the Royal Family, according to a source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020 and moved to the US via a short stay in Canada.
The couple got married in May 2018 at Windsor Castle and received a royal residence from the late Queen Elizabeth II to mark the occasion.
Harry and Meghan were given Frogmore Cottage and lived there until 2020 before they stood down from their Royal Family roles.

Despite living in Montecito, California the Sussexes used Frogmore as their UK base and would stay there when they returned to England.
However, in 2023 following the publication of the Duke of Sussex's autobiography Spare, King Charles asked the couple to vacate the royal residence.
Spare contained multiple attacks on senior members of the Royal Family including Queen Camilla, Prince William and the Princess of Wales.
The Duke of Sussex requested to keep Frogmore until after King Charles's Coronation which took place in May 2023.
The Sussexes officially vacated the royal residence in July 2023 and have not found a UK base since leaving Frogmore.

An insider told the Daily Beast that evicting Harry from Frogmore Cottage made it difficult for the Duke of Sussex to visit the UK regularly.
The source said: "The evidence is there, clearly, for everyone to see.
"He has been kicked out of the home that would have made it possible for him to come back on a regular basis."
A report released last month showed that Frogmore Cottage remains empty over a year after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were evicted.
