Prince Harry's absence at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance sparked calls for the Duke of Sussex to come back to the UK.

The Prince and Princess of Wales joined King Charles at the Royal Albert Hall tonight.


Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and the Duchess of Edinburgh also attended the event in a strong display of unity from the Royal Family.

However, Prince Harry who lives in the US with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children was absent from the festival.

Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 while he was still a working member of the Royal Family.

The Invictus Games is an annual major sports event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and servicewomen, both serving and veterans.

Following emotional interviews with several Invictus Games athletes at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, royal fans took to social media to pay tribute to the Duke of Sussex.

One wrote: "The acknowledgement of the Invictus Games at the festival of remembrance was astounding.

Another said: "Absolutely brilliant segment devoted to the excellence of the Invictus Games. Thank you, Prince Harry, they’ll never take that from you."

A third commented: "Whatever your thoughts on current Royal affairs, it was Prince Harry who founded Invictus Games, which has helped numerous wounded service people, and that should never be forgotten. Thank you."

A fourth said: "It is very sad that Prince Harry isn't at the Festival of Remembrance given the tribute to the Invictus Games."

Prince Harry is currently not on speaking terms with his brother Prince William or the Princess of Wales.

The King and his youngest son are also thought to be barely speaking as the Duke of Sussex's feud with the Royal Family rages on.
