The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their working royal roles in January 2020
Prince Harry is set to be "completely ignored" by the Royal Family today after Meghan Markle suffered a blow, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex, who turned 43 last month, was "met with complete silence" by the royals on social media.
Lydia Alty, a royal commentator, has argued that the same thing could happen to the Duke of Sussex today (September 15) on his 40th birthday.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, Alty claimed: "If there hadn’t been the family fallout, the Royal Family would have celebrated Harry’s 40th birthday.
"They used to mark Meghan, Harry and Archie's birthdays, even in the months after they left the Royal Family.
"But since interviews on live TV and commentary in books, the Royal Family has completely ignored them for the past two years.
"They have been silent on Archie, and Lilibet, who most of the royals have never met."
Harry and Meghan stepped back from their working royal roles in January 2020, and have since been consumed by a rift with King Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate.

The Sussexes have made several negative statements about the Royal Family through an interview with Oprah Winfrey, their Netflix docuseries and Harry's autobiography, Spare.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the royal social media channels ceased posting anything related to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
This included Meghan's 43rd birthday, which occurred on August 4, 2024.
Alty continued: "Meghan, who celebrated her birthday in August, was met with complete silence from the Palaces.
