The Duke of Sussex returned to the UK for a High Court hearing in London
Prince Harry stayed with friends during his surprise visit to the UK, it has emerged as he avoided the royal estates following his "eviction" from Frogmore Cottage.
The Duke of Sussex returned to Britain this week for the first time since the late Queen's funeral for his privacy claim against Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers.
During his visit, the Duke did not meet with the King or the Prince of Wales after he and Meghan Markle were asked to "vacate" Frogmore Cottage earlier this year.
Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed where the royal stayed while in the UK.
Harry and Meghan's spokesperson confirmed a "request" had been made to the Sussexes to leave Frogmore Cottage

"One of the big questions everyone is asking is where is Harry staying," Fiorito said.
"Fox News has the scoop that he's staying with friends in London.
"I also saw he could be staying with Princess Eugenie. Obviously, they're very close.
"It is a big question because he's out of Frogmore Cottage at the end of March, that timing would also work out."
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have reportedly taken residence in Windsor following claims that Harry and Meghan were in the process of being evicted from the royal residence to make way for Prince Andrew.
Harry and Meghan's spokesperson confirmed a "request" had been made to the Sussexes to leave Frogmore Cottage close to Windsor Castle.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield suggested that the timing of the announcement is "very strange" after the couple's popularity reached an all-time low.
Speaking on GB News, she said: "The timing on this is all very strange and I do wonder if this is a story leaked by the Sussexes to try and garner sympathy after several really hard weeks of criticism.
Some experts suggested that Prince Harry could have stayed with Princess Eugenie during his UK trip

"Between Spare and South Park, they have taken some severe hits lately and it does make you wonder if this story popped up out of nowhere for people to feel sorry for them."
The eviction decision is likely to be interpreted as a major rebuke by King Charles to his son, who after moving to North America in 2020 has criticised the monarchy and individuals within the institution alleging racism and a lack of support.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been invited to King Charles’s Coronation, but they failed to confirm or deny whether they would attend.
Experts have warned that the couple not attending the Coronation could be a “fatal” and “irreversible” blow to the Royal Family.
