Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has accused Prince Harry and Meghan of "hypocrisy" over their recent Colombia trip, given the Duke's previous security concerns about visiting the UK.
Speaking on GB News, Schofield said: "Harry and Meghan visiting Colombia caught a lot of us off guard because Prince Harry said he was too fearful to bring his wife back to the UK because he said X, Y and Z would happen and laid out some very extreme examples of things he feared."
"I feel Prince Harry would be very well protected in the UK. It does feel a little hypocritical," she added.
The comments come as the Sussexes face scrutiny over their international visits.

When the Sussexes visited Colombia earlier this year, they travelled on the invitation of the country's Vice-President to promote internet safety for children.

Schofield criticised the diplomatic implications of the Sussexes' overseas visits on GB News, stating: "These tours are typically to build diplomatic and trade alliances on behalf of a government, so truly, what are they doing?"

"It seems like they have different priorities," she added.
The criticism comes amid broader concerns about the couple's approach to international visits.
Royal commentator Russell Myers noted in a recent German documentary that appearances matter when visiting underprivileged communities.
"If you're going to places like Nigeria, like Colombia, which have huge socio-economic problems... and you're turning up wearing tens of thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes - it really doesn't send the right message," Myers said.
The Sussexes have increasingly pursued separate work commitments in recent months, with sources describing it as a new "twin-track approach".
The couple have only been seen together twice in the last four months, including an August interview with CBS.
