Richard Fitzwilliams downplayed the likelihood of Harry's visa status being discussed during the meeting
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be "a little bit nervous" about Harry's US visa situation following Donald Trump's meeting with Prince William at Notre Dame Cathedral.
Speaking on GB News, Fitzwilliams downplayed the likelihood of Harry's visa status being discussed during the meeting, stating: "I very strongly doubt that Harry and Meghan are among the priorities of the president."
However, he acknowledged ongoing concerns about Harry's visa application, noting: "We know there's an issue supposedly with what might or might not be on the application form for Prince Harry's US visa. He mentioned that he'd taken drugs in Spare."
Prince William and Donald Trump met at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris this weekend as the iconic site reopened following a devastating fire in 2019.

The Prince of Wales attended the ceremony on behalf of King Charles, marking the first time a royal has met Trump since he left the White House in 2021.
The meeting was only confirmed on Friday, coming just a day after William attended his wife Princess Kate's Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey.

As part of his role, William was scheduled to meet Trump to emphasise the importance of the 'special relationship' between Britain and the US.
The visa controversy stems from a Washington DC think-tank's request to make Prince Harry's visa records public following his drug use admissions in his memoir "Spare".
The Heritage Foundation filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, claiming the request was of "immense public interest", though a judge ruled the records should remain private.
Trump has previously suggested he could intervene regarding Harry's visa "if he lied" about taking drugs.
Speaking to the Daily Express US, Trump stated: "I wouldn't protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That's unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me."
However, Eric Trump, the former president's son, recently dismissed concerns about Harry's visa status, telling the Daily Mail: "Truthfully I don't give a damn about Prince Harry and I don't think this country does either."
He added: "I don't give a damn if [Harry] did drugs. It means nothing."
Eric Trump praised other members of the Royal Family, particularly the Prince and Princess of Wales, saying William had never "made a misstep" while Kate "conducts herself so incredibly well and has been such a rock in the next generation of the family."
He also emphasised the Trump family's long-standing relationship with the monarchy, noting his father "loved the Queen."
