Prince Harry returned to the UK on Tuesday following the news of King Charles's cancer diagnosis

Prince Harry has been criticised following his return to the UK, as King Charles prepares to receive treatment for "a form of cancer".

The Duke of Sussex arrived in London on Tuesday from Los Angeles, after Buckingham Palace released a statement addressing the King's health.

King Charles is to receive "scheduled, regular treatment" for "a form of cancer", but remains "wholly positive" following the diagnosis.

Prince Harry then flew to his homeland to be reunited with his estranged family, to support the King and Queen.

Reports have since claimed that the Prince's meeting with his father lasted a "maximum of 45 minutes" at London's Clarence House.

Shortly after the meeting, the King and Queen were seen leaving Buckingham Palace in their car, thought to be headed to Sandringham where the King will be treated for his cancer.

It has also been claimed that Prince William has made "no plans" to meet with his estranged brother whilst he is in the UK.

Discussing the swift meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles, GB News hosts Eamonn Holmes, Isabel Webster, Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce criticised the "coldness" of the short time he spent with his family and that the Duke should have "held off the helicopter for another two hours".

Eamonn fumed: "They're obviously not like ordinary people, but I would not have done it this way. I don't care what the circumstances are.

"They could have said 'come with us son to Sandringham, and we'll fly you back tomorrow'".

Bev Turner agreed, criticising the Duke of Sussex and claiming he "enjoys the kind of conversations that the King detests".

She added: "It's the emotional psychoanalysis that Harry does. And King Charles doesn't do that kind of communication. They've both got completely different communication stances. He'll just want to be in and out."

Eamonn then highlighted that it was "interesting" that Prince Harry was given police protection on his arrival to the UK, after previously being told he will no longer receive it.

Andrew Pierce agreed, expanding: "He did, he had the police cars. That would have cost a lot of taxpayer money.

"He's been earning a lot of money over there slagging off the royal institution, he should have paid for himself in my view."
