Prince Harry has been urged to call King Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate following the recent health announcements regarding the Royal Family, a royal commentator has said.
Kate is currently recovering in hospital following undergoing abdominal surgery and is expected to remain there for up to two weeks.
The King is also due to go to hospital next week for surgery on his enlarged prostate.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, said: "There is a very deep rift in the royal family. As far as anyone is aware, Harry and William aren’t speaking."
Charles is resting at his home in Scotland before his surgery.

Since the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, relations between Harry and the rest of his family have grown complicated.
The previous month, in December 2022, the Sussexes also released a Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, where the couple criticised British press and the Royal Family.
Fitzwilliams continued: “It’s very unfortunate this has happened.
“Not only the King with an enlarged prostate but Catherine has also had an operation of some magnitude.
William and Harry haven't seen each other seen the Queen's funeral.

“Given the sensitivities involved, it is hoped some approach would be made by Harry but the best thing, and the only thing, would be a quiet or private approach. So basically we don’t hear.”
This means that even if Harry decides to or has been in contact with his family it may not be reported on.
Fitzwilliams told The Sun: “I would have thought Harry will approach his father, brother and also Catherine.”
The last time that Harry and William saw each other was at the King's Coronation in May 2023.
There have been tensions between Harry and his family since the release of Spare.

Cole suggested that William may make a “short statement” soon with an update on his wife’s health.
He stated: "She's going to be in hospital for up to two weeks as she improves, and I hope she does very rapidly.
"As her condition approves, I'm sure the children will also go down to see her.”
