Prince Harry is refusing to do fresh interviews to promote his autobiography due to key details in his contract, according to a friend of the royal.
The Duke of Sussex's memoir Spare was released in January 2023 and contained multiple attacks on the Royal Family.
This week it was announced that the paperback version of the book would contain no additional chapters.
The release date for the paperback version in October clashes with King Charles and Queen Camilla's trip to Samoa.

However, Harry has decided not to do any additional interviews ahead of the October release date.
A friend of the Duke of Sussex told the Mail: "Harry doesn't plan to give any interviews to promote the paperback edition."
They added: "The paperback was a part of the book deal he signed, but he is not contractually obliged to promote this edition.
"The reason it has taken longer than usual for the paperback to be published is that the more expensive hardback was still selling well."

The Duke of Sussex will head to New York during UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week.
