In footage from the show's trailer, the mansion where Meghan filmed was decorated with colourful balloons and wildflowers for the tea party event.

"I don't want to give away too much but we did a tea party for kids," Kaling told Variety, reflecting on the filming which took place when she was two months post-partum.

The special gathering could potentially include rare appearances from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Kaling can be seen in preview clips sharing a meal with Meghan in her kitchen, as the pair discuss their shared passion for food.

"The thing about her recipes is they're really accessible."

The actress highlighted Meghan's gardening prowess, noting: "She has a garden from scratch, which I could never do, and chickens which would probably all die if I tried to take care of them."

Kaling emphasised that despite Meghan's impressive skills, her approach to cooking remains approachable for everyday home cooks.
