The couple are said to be looking into a future working behind the camera
Meghan Markle has got “huge plans” despite the Sussexes reportedly scaling-down their Netflix operation, according to a royal commentator.
Angela Levin says Meghan Markle will not be “shut up” despite a source telling The Sun that the couple have “nothing left to say”.
The couple are said to be looking into a future working behind the camera for the streaming giant after their docuseries which slated life in the royal household.
Speaking on GB News, Angela Levin said the couple are not likely to accept second fiddle and Meghan in particular still harbours lofty ambitions.
She told Andrew Pierce and Dawn Neesom: “Meghan is very good at pretending things are no longer there and moving on.
“She’s so hungry to be known and respected. She calls herself ‘global’ and everything she does is global.
“She’s got huge plans and she is not going to be put down or shut up by these rumours which she would regard as small things.”
Levin added that she does not believe the couple really are looking to scale down on their abrasive royal statements.
“I don’t believe a word of it” she said. “They can’t. It’s not in their nature now because everyone would forget them, which is the last thing Meghan would want.
“The idea that they’re going to be behind the camera is also a nonsense because they have no experience in this.
“I can’t see Netflix is going to like that.”
It comes as Harry prepares to bring claims against Mirror Group Newspapers over alleged unlawful information gathering at its titles in a seven-week trial which began on Wednesday.
The Duke is set to attend the High Court in London, his first trip to the UK since his father’s Coronation.
Harry will not have the opportunity to speak to King Charles, as the monarch is travelling to Romania for a solo trip.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were recently involved in a New York car chase which they described as “near catastrophic”.
They were followed by paparazzi after attending an awards ceremony with the Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland.
There are claims they were subjected to a “relentless pursuit” involving six blacked-out vehicles driving recklessly and endangering the convoy and everyone around them.
The New York Police Department, which deployed officers to help escort the Duke and Duchess, said “numerous photographers” had “made their transport difficult” on Tuesday.
The statement said there were “no reported collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests”.
