Meghan Markle has announced a new podcast this week

A royal commentator has claimed that Harry and Meghan have "no support anymore" and slammed Meghan and "delusional."

The Duchess of Sussex announced earlier in the week that she will be launching a new podcast and it is described as "a record-breaking podcast exploring the labels that try to hold women back."

In the past, Meghan and Harry’s media deal with Spotify was axed prematurely after one season of Meghan’s podcast ‘Archetypes’ and one holiday special.

On Harry and Meghan's new website, it was announced that the new version of "Archetypes" will be available to stream from Spring.

Her original podcast saw over 10 million downloads, and averaged almost a million listens per episode however, royal commentator Kara Kennedy does not believe that the new one will have much "support."

Speaking to Patrick Christys on GB News, Kennedy said: "I'm not sure we have much left to hear of her story after Netflix, Archetypes, Harry's book, and all of the different interviews.

"She hasn't seen a lot of members of the Royal Family for now years, so I don't really know what she's going to have left to say."

Christys asked the expert: "Do you think she suffers from a little bit of delusion? Which is that people care about her just going about her daily business.

"Which as far as I can tell, is occasionally popping up at some kind of Bob Marley event and maybe pushing Harry around the theatre a little bit to try and get a better seat popping up as a hockey game, etc."

Kennedy responded: "I think at the beginning she was kind of vindicated in her delusion because there was such a split down the middle of who supported Megan and who didn't.

"But now, as the years have gone on, there is no support for The Sussex's anymore. It isn't that 50 50 split.

"In fact, it's more like 95 five per cent for the people who actually support them.

"So I don't know if she can live in her delusions for much longer."

Meghan has spoken out about her new deal stating: "Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.

"Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast is well in the works."

Lemonada, the platform hosting the show, CEO and co-founder, Jessica Cordova Kramer said: "We are beyond honored that Meghan has trusted us to help democratize access to ‘Archetypes,’ and that so many more people around the world will have access to the series soon.

"Meghan’s talent as host, creator and conversationalist is unparalleled and we are thrilled to co-create a new series with her that fosters her approach to creating art that matters."
