Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are at risk of their “star power dwindling” following Netflix projects announcement.
An entertainment source explained that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex must “not show signs of desperation” by taking up these projects solely for financial reasons.
Last week it was announced that Meghan and Harry are working on a “bunch” of new projects including a film.
Mark Boardman, an entertainment and royal commentator, stated: "Documentaries and a film would be the right direction, but only if the projects are suitable for either Harry or Meghan, and not solely based on financial reasons.”

Netflix’s chief content officer, Bela Bajara, revealed that over the next 12 months Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions could produce multiple different types of content including “unscripted” projects.
Bajaria did not give any further details about what the projects may be about, but it is understood that the “unscripted” project may be another documentary.
Boardman told the Daily Express: “The reputation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is at stake for any failed projects and any signs of desperation.
"It would see their star power dwindle further, with only reboots of 'Suits' for Meghan and the Invictus Games for Harry to fall back on as fan favourites.”

It was previously reported that Meghan was set for “one of the biggest TV deals of the year” in a “tailor-made” role in a spin-off of the hit TV show Suits.
Meghan is reported to have been offered a role in at least one episode of the legal drama’s new series in a performance which has been exclusively written for her.
Boardman continued: "Any venture carries the potential for scrutiny, and the couple's reputation rests on the quality of their work.
"Success could solidify their Hollywood influence, but ultimately, their creative choices and the merit of their content will determine their impact."

Harry and Meghan are set to travel to Canada next month for the Invictus Games
GettySince the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, in January 2023 and the couple’s Netflix documentary in December 2022, there have been tensions between the prince and the rest of his family.
If the duke and duchess release another documentary revealing private information about the Royal Family these tensions may worsen.
This month, Harry and Meghan will travel to Canada on February 14 for two days to attend the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go celebrations.
Prince Harry established the sports event for wounded, injured and ill service people and veterans in 2014.
