Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'silence is bewildering' as their lucrative contract with Netflix is set to expire next year, according to a royal commentator.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a deal with the streaming giant in 2020 after they stepped down as working members of the Royal Family.
The couple have so far produced two documentaries for Netflix, the hugely successful self-titled Harry & Meghan series and Heart of the Invictus.
The Sussexes are reportedly working on several projects for the platform but none have been given a release date or promoted publicly.

However, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams criticised the couple's lack of output.
Fitzwilliams told GB News: "They can turn it around if they come up with some work.
"The only thing they are doing as far as I can see with Invictus, Prince Harry already had that.
"So they have not done anything, they lost Spotify. Will they lose Netflix? The contract runs out in 2025."

He added: "It is rather bewildering their silence."
In June 2023, it was announced that the couple's deal with Spotify had been cancelled.
Executives at Spotify were left underwhelmed with Meghan's Archetypes podcast which explored stereotypes used against women.
Shortly after, Bill Simmons, the head of podcast innovation and monetisation at the company blasted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Simmons said: "I wish I had been involved in the ‘Meghan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation. ‘The F*****g Grifters.’ That’s the podcast we should have launched with them."
He added: "I have got to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea.
"It’s one of my best stories… F*** them. The grifters."
