The Duke and Duchess of Sussex set up not-for-profit organisation Archewell in 2020

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a new announcement regarding their Archewell Foundation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex set up the foundation in 2020 following Megxit.

Archewell shared on its website that it has supported Equimundo, a charity that aims "to engage men and boys as allies in gender equality" in releasing a new report.

Summarising the report, Archewell wrote: "The 2023 data shows that men are increasingly involved in caregiving and would like to increase their care work at home, although deeply ingrained social norms and a lack of supportive policies and power structures discourage them from doing so.

"The report recognises care work as the bedrock of society, and calls for continued advancements towards gender equality.

"It also emphasises the need for media representation that normalises men's caregiving roles."

It concluded: "The Archewell Foundation is proud to have supported this report, as well as Equimundo’s continued work to promote gender equality around the globe."

Since then, the couple have signed lucrative contracts with major firms including with Spotify and Netflix.

But Spotify recently cancelled their contract, worth millions, with Meghan and Harry after being underwhelmed by the Duchess of Sussex's Archetypes podcast.

A source has claimed that the couple are now under pressure to fund their lavish lifestyle.
