Meghan Markle's close friend and Suits co-star has given an update on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's marriage.
Wendell Pierce plays Robert Zane, the father of Rachel Zane, portrayed by Meghan Markle, in the legal soap series.
Pierce revealed at the 2024 Tony Awards in New York on Sunday, June 16 that he met up with the Duchess of Sussex.
The actor also gave a rare insight into Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage.

Pierce said: "When [Meghan] came into town, she got an award last year, had a chance to say hello and wish she and Prince Harry well and wish the children well."
He added: "They look very much in love and were very happy, so that's the most important thing."
Last month, Meghan Markle shared an update on her and Prince Harry's marriage following the conclusion of their tour in Nigeria.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex began dating in 2016 and got married in May 2018 at Windsor Castle.

The couple have two young children together Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
Meghan told People: "We're just doing great. And happy to be watching our family grow up and evolve.
"Of course, I'm happy. We're really happy."
It comes as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remained silent during Father’s Day and made no mention of the special day.

Prince Harry's older brother Prince William made a social media post paying tribute to their father King Charles.
The Prince of Wales posted a throwback photograph of himself and his father, taken before Prince Harry was born on June 12, 1984, shortly before Prince William's second birthday.
The royal captioned the post: "Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W."
