Meghan Markle was caught on camera in a toe-curlingly awkward moment during a star-studded fundraiser over the weekend.
The Duchess of Sussex attended actor Kevin Costner's One805 Live! event which he hosted at his home in Santa Barbara.
The royals were not the only high-profile people in attendance with Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Katy Perry also there.
However, footage of a cringeworthy moment involving Meghan from the event has gone viral.

A woman can be seen walking towards the Duchess of Sussex with a microphone and Meghan appears to think it is being given to her.
The royal puts her hand on the microphone before realising that it is not intended for her.
Meghan then quickly lets go of the microphone and makes a swift exit as Prince Harry walks behind her.
Royal watchers took to social media to comment on the clip.

Meghan and Harry are under pressure to produce successful content for Netflix after being dropped by Spotify after the Duchess of Sussex's Archetypes podcast left executives underwhelmed.
In July, it was reported that work on the Sussexes' Netflix projects had been halted due to the Hollywood writers' strike affecting production.

A source close to the couple told the Telegraph that it was proving "tough" for the Sussexes to move forward with their concepts due to the strike.

However, in a major boost for the couple, screenwriters in the US have said they have reached a tentative deal with studio bosses that could bring the strike to an end.
It has been the longest strike affecting Hollywood in decades, lasting nearly five months.
Despite the agreement, members of The Writers Guild of America (WGA) will still have the final say to call off the strike.
A separate dispute involves actors, who are also on strike.
