American Riviera Orchard has yet to officially release any products to the public

Meghan Markle has taken matters into her own hands with a bold move after an unsuccessful search for a CEO of American Riviera Orchard, according to insiders.

The Duchess of Sussex has previously conducted interviews for the position but has not appointed a candidate for the position.

After being left underwhelmed at the options available, Meghan has decided to appoint herself as Chief Executive Officer, an insider told the New York Post.

The Sussexes declined to comment when approached by GB News regarding Meghan becoming the CEO of the lifestyle brand.

In April, a source told the Mail regarding the hiring process: "The initial CEO search has not panned out so far."

The Duchess of Sussex's American Riviera Orchard brand was launched earlier this year, but so far, no products have been put on sale.

Meghan sent famous friends and influencers a jar of jam, with many sharing the product on social media.

As of yet, nothing has been released to the public as we approach 2025.

In August a source said regarding the Sussexes: "The brutal reality is Harry and Meghan are the toughest of taskmasters, they are very demanding and difficult to work for, and that puts a lot of people's backs up."

However, a source close to the Sussexes has dismissed this claim.

The source told People, a US publication with links to the couple, that Meghan has been busy working behind the scenes to prepare for the later this year.

The Duchess of Sussex's American Riviera Orchard will be linked to her upcoming Netflix cooking show for the streaming giant.

The programme which so far does not have a title, has been pencilled in for a release date of mid-2025, according to the Mail.

Prince Harry's latest Netflix project POLO will drop on the platform next week.

The official trailer for the series did not feature either the Duke or Duchess of Sussex.

However, the trailer did signal that the series had been executively produced by Prince Harry and Meghan.
