The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a lucrative deal with Netflix in 2020
Meghan Markle has finished the filming for her new series, as inside sources have provided fans with a new update.
The Duchess of Sussex is thought to have finished filming her new cookery show, meaning her untitled project could soon be appearing on Netflix.
A Hollywood source told The Daily Beast: “It all went well and it is in the can.”
GB News has contacted a spokesperson for Meghan and Netflix to confirm whether or not filming has been completed.
Neither the streaming giant nor Meghan’s team have said when the new series will air or what it will be called.
However, Meghan has said it will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining, and friendship”.
The duchess was recently spotted wearing a tracksuit in Beverly Hills as she posed for a photoshoot.
A video of the moment was caught by a fan who recognised her at Beverly Gardens Park on Santa Monica Boulevard, near the celebrity coffee hotspot Alfreds on Thursday, June 27.

PAThe industry insider told The Daily Beast that while the show might need a few extra shots, they suspected the photoshoot was unrelated to the project as the team had “got everything” they needed.
Filming is now thought to have ceased at a residential property just a few miles from Meghan and Prince Harry’s home in Montecito.
The decision on when the new show will be aired is down to the streaming giant.
However, Meghan will likely be eager to become a professional lifestyle expert as soon as possible.

Meghan Markle signed with a major talent agency in 2023
ReutersA successful Netflix show would be helpful for Meghan's career after a string of initiatives and businesses have failed in recent years.
Most glaring of these was the podcast deal with Spotify, which produced a 12-episode series titled Archetypes, but failed to create a significant impact.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix content has also been slight, except for the Harry & Meghan documentary.
The latest big career move has been Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard (ARO). ARO jam has been publicised by influencers on social media, but no ARO products are yet available in any shops.
