The awkward moment from the One805 Live! event has gone viral online
Meghan Markle suffered a humiliating "snub" at Kevin Costner's A-list charity fundraiser, when a host walked towards her with a microphone and Duchess of Sussex mistakenly grabbed it.
After clutching onto the microphone, Meghan quickly realised her error as the host did not let go of it.
The clip from the One805 Live! event went viral online, and royal commentator Tom Bower addressed the awkward moment during an interview with GB News.
Bower spoke to Dan Wootton Tonight where he analysed the Duchess of Sussex's "snub" which was caught on video.
The commentator said: "Well it is hilarious, Meghan really did think, I'm told, that when she paid $12,000 (£9,875) for the right to go to this event and stand next to Kevin Costner, that that would give her speaking rights too.
"After all she had just come from Germany where she had been lauded at the Invictus Games.
"But that wasn't Hollywood, she wanted to do the same in Hollywood.
"She was convinced she was going to get the right to make the same sort of speech, you know the great speech about being deeply affected by all the poverty and all the rest of it.

"But they were having none of it, so she was snubbed by Hollywood."
Bower added: "It's pretty sad to think you can buy a microphone for $12,000 (£9,875), when really if you paid $100,000 (£82,000) she would've had the right to speak."

After recovering from the awkward moment, Meghan presented Costner with an honorary award, before greeting other attendees.
The clip, posted on Santa Barbara Magazine's Instagram account, shows Prince Harry and Meghan beaming as they walked onstage while the audience cheered loudly.
The former Suits actress looked beautiful in an oversized black-and-white Carolina Herrera coat, paired with Manolo Blahnik shoes.
The Sussexes' warm reception at the event echoed their success at the Invictus Games in Germany, where crowds in Dusseldorf were eager to meet the Duke and Duchess.
