Meghan Markle's latest As Ever blunder has been branded "incredibly embarrassing" after being forced to apologise to disappointed customers.
Fans of the Duchess of Sussex rushed to the website to purchase her much anticipated products, including a Limited-Edition Honey, priced at £21.60 ($28).
Fans claimed they received an email from the company explaining: "The excitement created a volume of traffic on the site that even we couldn't have anticipated (with everything selling out in an hour)."

The message continued: "The orders were happening so quickly that the backend of the site didn't have a chance to keep up. The Limited-Edition Honey that you purchased was, unfortunately, already sold out."
Speaking to GB News, royal reporter Kinsey Schofield said the error was "incredibly embarrassing", given the timing of her new podcast launch, aptly named "Confessions of a Female Founder".
Schofield explained: "Meghan Markle had to issue apologies to her As Ever customers, because they purchased and paid for a $28 bottle of honey, and Meghan didn't have the product.
"So she had to reach out to those customers and say, I'm so sorry, this product doesn't exist, there was a glitch in the system."

Schofield also claimed that customers were offered either a "refund, another product" or to be "sent the honey at a later date".
She said: "They said you can have another product, you can have a refund, I'll send you some honey at a later date - but this is incredibly embarrassing for somebody that's trying to brand herself as a girl boss."
Criticising the duchess in her latest business blunder, Schofield admitted that if she was an As Ever customer, she would be "very angry" that she was unable to receive the product, but Meghan's famous friends were able to receive it for free in a PR package.
She stated: "Hopefully this is just episode one, but if I were a consumer, I'd be so angry watching all of the Kardashians and all of the famous friends opening up their As Ever packages.

In a personal message, Meghan wrote: "Dear friend, my goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you so much for the support. It really means so much to me."
She expressed regret about the situation, telling customers: "I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey."
Meghan promised fans they would receive the next item automatically, writing: "No need to order, it will come to you in the mail as a gift from me."
