Lady Gabriella Kingston made a rare public appearance at Westminster Abbey on Friday evening, attending the Princess of Wales's annual Christmas carol service.
The 43-year-old writer was seen for the first time since the recent inquest into her husband Thomas Kingston's death.
Dressed in a long dark olive coat, Lady Gabriella was among the 1,600 guests at the festive event.
She arrived alongside her cousin, Lady Helen Taylor, daughter of the Duke of Kent.

The event was also attended by her parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and her brother, Lord Frederick Windsor and his family.
Lady Gabriella was last seen publicly in June when she joined the Royal Family at Royal Ascot.
The inquest at Gloucestershire Coroner's Court revealed that Thomas Kingston, 45, died from a shotgun wound at his parents' home in the Cotswolds on February 25.
In her witness statement, Lady Gabriella expressed concerns about medication side effects, stating: "The lack of any evidence of inclination it seems highly likely to me that he had an adverse reaction to the pills that led him to take his life."

Kingston had been prescribed sertraline and zopiclone by a GP at the Royal Mews Surgery for sleep troubles, later switching to citalopram.
Thomas and Lady Gabriella Kingston were married at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in May 2019, with Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh among the guests.
