King Frederik and Queen Mary gave their first interview amid the Danish royal photoshop controversy.
The royal couple spoke to the Danish broadcaster TV 2, while onboard their royal yacht, Kongeskibet Dannebrog.
It comes as the King and Queen of Denmark were forced to refute allegations that a recent portrait of the couple has been artificially doctored.
Frederik and Mary published their first official gala portrait last month, however, royal watchers accused the couple of photoshopping.

One person commented on the picture: "Was this photoshopped? I mean it looks like they were photographed separately then put together?"
Responding to the criticism, the Danish Palace confirmed that: "The Royal House's official gala portrait has not been manipulated."
During their first interview since acceding the throne earlier this year, Frederik and Mary spoke about the future of the monarchy and their childhood memories.
The couple confirmed that they wanted to protect the tradition of the monarchy, however, they are focused on the "present and future" of the institution.

Mary said: "We have not set a fixed route, but a good direction. We are going to continue the tracks we have laid. Our interest in nature and communities and business. We also want to be a royal couple who are visible and present throughout Denmark."
The couple went on to talk about their upcoming state visit to Sweden and Norway on their yacht.
Frederik spoke fondly about their Scandinavian neighbours stating: "We feel at home in Scandinavia.
"We are not only colleagues, but also family. Our cohorts have become friends. We have a fantastic dialogue and a relaxed relationship when we meet."

Meanwhile, Mary commented on their royal duties in the countries describing the tour as reflecting "our common interests in research, nature, sustainable development."
Frederik and Mary will travel from country to country on the royal yacht Dannebrog which has been owned by the Danish Royal Family from before Frederik was born.
The couple recalled fond memories on the yacht; Frederik recalled times when he and his brother, Prince Joachim would run around the decks as children.
Mary also spoke about family holidays aboard the yacht, recalling: "The children, crew and us – not so high for me – jump from the highest point on the ship into the deep blue water."
