Princess Kate and Prince William are not competing with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry amid their potential US launch, according to inside sources.
In August, Prince William and Princess Kate raised an eye-watering sum from US donors, according to accounts published by the Charity Commission.
The following month, the couple relaunched plans for The Royal Foundation in the US.
Kate, 43, and William, 42, registered the foundation's brand with the American trademark authorities, according to reports in The Mail.

Prince William indicated late last year that he and Kate would be undertaking more international engagements.
"Hopefully Catherine will be doing a bit more next year, so we'll have some more trips maybe lined up," he said.
According to a source, Kate is hoping to use any potential US visits as an opportunity to heal the rift between the royal brothers.
"[Kate] sees it as a rare chance to meet up with Harry and feels like it would be a great step towards making peace," the source told Closer.

GettyThe Princess of Wales has been actively pushing for a reunion between William and Harry, who reportedly avoided each other at their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes's funeral last August.
The details of the Royal Foundation's American expansion remain confidential, according to insiders.
"The details are hush-hush but, by all accounts, it's something they're working on pretty intensely," a source claimed.
They emphasised that the move is not intended to compete with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
"Expanding the Royal Family's charitable work on a more global scale, and into America, has long been talked about. This isn't coming out of nowhere," they added.
The tensions between the brothers have been well-documented in recent years.
The rift deepened following Harry and Meghan's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they made claims about the Palace's response to concerns over Meghan's mental health.
Further strain was added when Prince Harry published his memoir 'Spare' in 2023, which detailed disagreements between the couples.
The brothers were last together at Lord Robert Fellowes's funeral in August, where they reportedly kept their distance from each other.
Kate is thought to have made reconciliation between the brothers a key priority for the coming year.
"One of Kate's top goals for 2025 is to find a way to mend fences between William and Harry so that is front and centre on her mind whenever there's talk about going to America," the source said.
