The Princess of Wales has a "controversy-free" record
Princess Kate "came out looking better than ever" after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's attacks on the royal "backfired", a PR commentator has claimed.
Eddie Coram James, who founded GoUp, discussed how both William and Kate have been able to "fly above" any royal scandals coming from California.
Since stepping down as working royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched multiple attacks on the Prince and Princess of Wales.
However, Kate and William have not issued any responses, interviews or statements, which James argued has won them praise.
He said: "Because of their ‘keep calm and carry on’ approach, and by not rising or taking the bait, the efforts backfired, and the Waleses arguably came out looking better than ever.
"As the public broadly sympathised with them and felt that their response showed poise, maturity and dignity, they not only rode the storm but flew above it.
"And, because the Waleses have not had a controversial year, but instead have just kept their heads down and focused on work, the public is more than happy to allow them some time off to focus on being good parents."

The 10-year-old is said to be sitting entrance exams for Eton College in Windsor, which is located only a short walk away from his home, Adelaide Cottage.
Instead, the Prince of Wales will travel to Singapore alone to announce the winners of his Earthshot Prize, which will be a stark change from previous years when Kate was always by his side.
The PR commentator explained how Kate was able to escape criticism for not joining her husband abroad.
He told Daily Express US: "The Princess of Wales has remained broadly controversy-free for years.

"Given the context, of course, the press has given her a free pass to the benefit of the doubt.
"When she says she wants to miss Earthshot to focus on parenting, people trust that that is probably the case."
