Princess Kate has been given a huge boost in her cancer battle by King Charles' improving health, a leading royal expert has claimed.
Kate and her father-in-law have become extremely close in recent years and the relationship has deepened even further as the pair bravely fight their cancer together.
And now Kate will get a huge physical and mental boost from the news that the King is recovering and able to return to public duties, helping her own fight against the killer disease, Jennie Bond told GB News.
She said: "I think Catherine is very dedicated to her role, and she knows there's been this terrific gap in the ranks of the royal family with her out of action, William out of action because of her and the King out of action.
"So Charles stepping back into some public facing duties is definitely going to make her feel, I think, a little more relaxed about taking the time off that she so clearly needs and wants."
The princess has stepped back from her public-facing duties as she continues preventative chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer.
The gaps in the Royal family line-up have been apparent over recent months, but now Buckingham Palace has issued a road map for the King’s return to public duties.
Bond added: "They're going to kick things off on Tuesday actually, with a very appropriate visit. Both he and the Queen will visit a cancer centre.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"And that is sending out big signals saying how important cancer treatment is, how important early diagnosis is.
"I think the indications we've already had will come true that he will try to be Trooping the Colour. I mean, that is, after all, the birthday celebration of the monarch.
"Little odd to have a birthday celebration without the king there. But I think he'll try to be there."
The King and Queen will make a joint visit to a cancer treatment centre next Tuesday, where they will meet medical specialists and patients.

PAIn June, they will host the Emperor and Empress of Japan for a state visit at the government's request.
There has been no further information as to when the Princess of Wales will return to public duties.
Kate - whose absence sparked wide-spread speculation earlier this year - has spent time at home with her family after sharing a video last month revealing her cancer diagnosis.
