Kate, Princess of Wales's mother has been compared to a famous A-lister who plotted her daughters' careers by royal fans.
The Crown viewers have compared the character of Carole Middleton to the American reality TV star, Kris Jenner.
In the show, Carole was portrayed as allegedly masterminding the romance between the now-Prince and Princess of Wales.
The former British Airways flight attendant was depicted as helping her daughter negotiate “a royal romance” with William, played by Ed McVey.

Reacting to the storyline, one fan wrote on X: “Kate Middleton’s mom is the British Kris Jenner.”
Another added: “Kate’s Mum is our Kris Jenner.”
In addition, someone said: “Carole Middleton walked so Kris Jenner could run.”
“Carole Middleton is the original Kris Jenner,” a social media user commented.

PAIn her book Palace Papers, royal commentator Tina Brown suggested that Carole had a hand in Kate’s decision to withdraw her place from the University of Edinburgh, before taking a gap year and re-applying to St Andrews in 2001.
She wrote: “It is unlikely Kate would be where she is today without her mother’s canny help in negotiating a royal romance.
“Carole’s fingerprints are all over Kate’s first move on the royal chessboard."
