King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend the two-hour long Coronation ceremony with more than 2,000 guests at Westminster Abbey
Millions of people across the world will be glued to TV screens today to watch Charles be crowned King alongside his wife Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey.
Preparations have been made ahead of the big day for months, with Buckingham Palace finalising a date for the ceremony in October last year.
Today is jam-packed with events, ranging for the monarch’s 1.3 mile procession to a 21-round gun salute.

PAKing Charles III and Queen Camilla will depart Buckingham Palace as the couple head to Westminster Abbey at 10.20am.
The pair will travel in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach.
Thousands of people will line the streets of London to cheer Charles and Camilla.
More than 11,000 police officers will form a “ring of steel” around the city, including much of the 1.3 mile procession route.

PAMembers of foreign royal families will arrive at the Great West Door of the Abbey just five minutes after the British monarch sets off from his London residence.
Most of the British Firm will arrive at the Great West Door at 10.35am but the Waleses will enter separately a mere 10 minutes later.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will arrive at the Abbey at 10.53am, giving them seven-minutes to settle in before the Coronation ceremony starts.
The monarch’s appearance will be greeted by the state trumpeters of the Household Cavalry and the ringing of Westminster Abbey’s bells.
The Coronation ceremony starts at 11am, with the King having a silent prayer ahead of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s introduction.
The 74-year-old monarch will be required to stand in the Coronation theatre and show himself to guests in all four corners of the Abbey.
Charles will take the oath and pray aloud with the King’s Prayer after being presented with the Coronation bible.

The King will be crowned at approximately midday as Justin Welby places St Edward’s Crown on Charles' head.
Westminster Abbey’s bells will run for two minutes and a 21-round gun salute is fired by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery at Horse Guards Parade.
The Honourable Artillery Company will fire a salute of the same length from the Tower of London.

Homage will then be paid by the Archbishop of Canterbury, ahead of the Prince of Wales’ homage of royal blood and the new homage of the people.
Queen Camilla will be anointed with holy oil in full public view ahead of her ceremony with Queen Mary’s Crown.
The Coronation ceremony will conclude with the Lord’s Prayer, the King and Queen taking holy communion and the singing of the national anthem.

King Charles’ Coronation ceremony is expected to end at approximately 1pm.
Charles and Camilla will leave in the Gold State Coach.
Prince William and Princess Kate will follow behind in the next carriage as the Westminster Abbey bells toll once again.
After a 45-minute pause, the King and Queen will appear on the West Terrace of Buckingham Palace for a royal salute with armed forces from the UK and Commonwealth.
The Royal Family will then come together at 2.30pm to watch the flypast.
However, there are concerns the flypast might not take place due to high chances of heavy rain in the capital.
Sunday will see music icons and several thousand members of the public celebrate the historic occasion at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle.
The Coronation big lunch will also take place, with thousands of events expected to be held in every corner of the United Kingdom.
