Carole and Michael Middleton honoured by Prince Louis in sweet tribute

Prince Louis melted hearts at Westminster Abbey this evening with a touching tribute to his grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, during his mother's Christmas carol concert.
The six-year-old royal placed a heartfelt handwritten note on the 'Kindness Tree' outside the historic venue, expressing gratitude to his maternal grandparents for playing games with him.
Arriving alongside his father Prince William and siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the young prince clutched his special message as he entered the Together at Christmas event.
The thoughtful gesture highlighted the close bond between the Wales children and Kate's parents, who have been a steadfast presence in their lives throughout a challenging year for the family.

The handwritten note read: "Thank you for granny and grandpa because they have played games with me," capturing the young prince's affection for his grandparents.
The special message was placed on the Kindness Tree outside Westminster Abbey, where guests were invited to dedicate decorations to those who have supported them throughout their lives.
Prince Louis arrived at the festive event alongside his father Prince William, 42, and siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine.
The young princes wore matching suits with red ties, while Charlotte donned a burgundy coat from Trotters that echoed her mother's Alexander McQueen ensemble.

The Wales family joined a 1,600-strong congregation at the abbey for the Together at Christmas carol service, which will be televised on ITV1 on Christmas Eve.
The close relationship between Prince Louis and his grandparents was previously highlighted in a video released earlier this year, where the young royal was seen enjoying card games with Carole and Michael Middleton.
The intimate family moment, captured at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, showed Louis sitting on his father William's lap next to his grandfather Michael, while grandmother Carole played cards with Prince George.
The Middletons, who live just half an hour away from the Wales family in Windsor at their Bucklebury mansion, have been a vital support network throughout the year.

Carole, 69, and Michael, 75, have been particularly supportive during Kate's recovery from major abdominal surgery and subsequent cancer treatment, which she announced in September that she had completed.
The Together at Christmas carol service, now in its fourth year, carries special significance with its theme of empathy and support during difficult times.
The event, supported by The Royal Foundation, celebrates individuals who have shown love and kindness in their communities across the UK.
The abbey was adorned with sustainable festive decorations, including Christmas trees donated by King Charles from Windsor Great Park.

Notable performers included Olivia Dean, Gregory Porter, and Paloma Faith, alongside the Westminster Abbey choir.
The Princess of Wales personally oversaw the arrangements, with the 1,600 guests largely comprising members of the public recommended by Lord Lieutenants for their community work.
Each guest received a special letter from Kate, reflecting on the importance of love, empathy and supporting one another during challenging times.
