Democrat voters have told GB News they would “go home crying” if Donald Trump wins the US election.
Speaking to Steve Edginton in Washington DC, the pair admitted they were feeling “anxious” about the possibility of the 78-year-old regaining the presidency.
“I think there’s always a concern but I think a lot of the states he has won in, we knew they would be Republican anyway”, one said.
“We’re waiting on swing states and western states that are predominantly blue, Democrat states.

“I think if he won, I would go home crying. It would be very tough. The number one thing on voter’s minds is the state of democracy.”
The voter’s partner echoed the sentiment, saying he would be “devastated” with a Trump win.

It comes as calls fly in from across the US - with results beginning to emerge in crucial swing states.
Kentucky, in the heart of the Midwest, was the first state to be called for Trump, which handed him eight Electoral College votes.
The northeastern state of Vermont was the first to be called for Harris, which handed her three Electoral College votes.

Either candidate needs 270 Electoral College votes to win.
The ‘Blue Wall’ states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are seen as critical in the race to the White House.
Both candidates went into polling day with projections having them neck and neck.
Harris headed to Pennsylvania where she adopted a siege mentality - declaring herself as the ‘underdog’ in the race.
Trump, meanwhile, headed to Michigan for a speech at a packed out hall which lasted until the early hours of the morning.
